(More customer reviews)My previous set up was significantly interfered by sunlight, fluorescent light, plasma tv and even the recessed lighting. This product is totally immune to all the above mentioned interference. The connection is a bit tricky as it came with a 4 wires 3.5 mm connector as my set up is just 3 wire connections. Fortunately it came with wiring diagram and I was able to figure out the 12 volts, infrared signal and ground connections. I removed the original 3.5 mm plug and use a regular 3 wires 3.5 mm plug. This works well and I am very happy with it. If you have trouble with interference problem with your infrared target/sensor you need to try this product.
