-4 IR flashers
-Connection Block
-Power adapter
-Double sided adhesive that can be used to mount the receiver or flashers.
I recently moved all of my home theater equipment into a closet in the front of my home. After looking at tons of similar products (with great confusion) to control my equipment, I settled on this one.
Hopefully by explaining how mine is setup, maybe you won't be as confused as i was at the start of this whole process...
Mine is set up as follows:
-Dinky IR receiver is mounted on the face plate of my surround sound speaker mount. It much smaller than I thought it would be (probably 1 in x 2.5 in). It is plugged into a 50 foot 2.5 mm stereo cable that runs up into the attic and into the closet plugging directly into the connection block.
-The connection block is powered using the included power adapter and plugs directly into the wall.
-The IR flashers plug into the connection block and are hung over my devices.
I have been using this now for about 2 weeks and it works flawlessly. I was worried there were going to be delays and interference from my LCD-LED TV, but no problems what so ever! The manual says it will pick up signals from 40 feet...So far I have only gone to 25 feet and it worked fine. The only thing I might have done differently is have gone with the 8 IR flasher connection block, but I can always upgrade later!
