CONS: None really, other than the best thing this could have included is a laser pointer included in the remote control to make it a final masterpiece for simple offices with humble conference rooms to set up neat wireless presentation system at low cost.
I ordered this device, very warily, after months of research online looking for a wireless PC to TV solution. Most forums and reviews of similar products yielded very negative experiences and concerns that ranged from how this was either an impossible thing to achieve, to how horrible it would work.
It works beautifully!
I ordered this for my company so that we could show our presentations on our HDTV in the conference room, rather than using our projector (although we could use both with this device if we wanted to if we ordered another). I ordered it and it arrived within 3 days. I followed the extremely easy to understand instructions (almost too easy, I was afraid it would fail the moment I opened the box) and connected the device to the television, plugged it in, installed the software on my laptop, and within minutes, I was playing videos, hulu.com, youtube, surfing the web and displaying a powerpoint presentation to my coworkers for everyone to see how we can use this device.
It sits a bit behind and below the TV, very nondescript, and includes a remote that you can use like a wireless-remote-mouse / pointer (minus the laser).
It works over the network (wired and wireless). Huge plus for me. I can set up a presentation from my office without taking my laptop with me to the conference room.
It impressed some of the guys from the IT group, and a couple of us mentioned getting this for our homes as well, which I will in a couple of weeks.
