(More customer reviews)So here I am looking for an MCE remote that is notebook-friendly. I see this, something that apparently stows into a card slot, so this must be a real portable solution? Right? Well, sure - the remote is tiny. However, my attempts to locate the picture of its IR receiver did not succeed. Still, assuming with a remote that portable, receiver should be also on a svelte side? So I expected something in thumbdrive form factor. Well, the receiver is this thing about same length/width and about 3x as thick as the remote itself, and with a 6-foot cable to boot. In other words, a full-size desktop IR receiver.
It works and all - but if you are looking for something notebook-friendly, this ain't it.
