(More customer reviews)Contrary to other reviews, this item worked just like it said it would. I placed/installed the IR Receiver on top of my plasma TV and, after hooking up the rest of my components, watched TV. You can read the manual on Xantech's website and it does have a lot of pointers/tips on the product and does list a number of other things that could interfere with this Xantech kit (primarily several types of lighting). Maybe I lucked out with the placement of mine and the receiver is in a very dimmly lit room, but everything worked perfect.
Highly recommend, but read Xantech's info first to see if it will be a good fit for your system.
